Global Warming

Global Warming has actually been taking place on Earth for thousands of years through natural processes. It was increasing at a steady rate, and wasn’t really as big of an issue until the recent years. Back then, the temperature was rising at a low and steady rate, due to the smaller amounts of carbon dioxide being emitted into the atmosphere, and the industrial revolution was still unheard of. However, through the early 20th century, industrialization, urbanization of cities, deforestation, and increased emission of carbon dioxide, has caused the temperatures to increase at an alarming rate.

Many individuals feel that investing or helping stop/slow down the process of Global Warming, is just a waste of time and money. A lot of people feel that Global Warming is an unimportant issue and doubt whether it’s even occurring. They should realize that Global Warming has begun and it's a problem that affects everyone. Global Warming is already evident through different events in the world, such as the melting of ice caps, increase in sea levels near the coastal areas, and the adverse climate changes in different countries. Even in present day life, people can see its effects on our region, and how it is affecting the seasonal businesses and local population.

More people need to take Global Warming serious, because if we let it happen, it could change the entire planet. It will lead to abnormal changes in the biosphere and lithosphere, which is not entirely a good thing, as it could wipe out different species of plants and animals. It will create problems for the people living near coastal areas, causing them to flee, and thus increases the population in denser areas, which would affect the area’s environment. It would lead to lower crop productions due to the abnormal climate, and this will continue to lead on to a chain reaction of catastrophe’s which could slowly but eventually lead to the demise of the population of Earth.

It’s important to start making an effort to help out your environment. This would also require help from larger international organizations and governments, to help create awareness of the situation. Countries need to start looking towards alternate methods of energy such as nuclear energy and thermal energy, over the use coal and fossil fuels. The governments of developed countries need to help out developing countries to tackle the problem, by providing them with the necessary resources etc. If everyone helped in doing their part by living a healthier and eco-friendly lifestyle, we would be able to take control of the situation and eventually save our planet in evading disaster.
